Less than a fortnight after beating Aston Villa 4-3 at Little Benton, Newcastle's under-18s travel to the Midlands for the return fixture at Bodymoor Heath on Friday morning (kick-off 11am).
But if they are to complete a double over the Villans they will have to do so without Adam Armstrong, who scored twice in that match but is on international duty with England under-16s along with defender Kyle Cameron.
Goalkeeper Freddie Woodman and forward Alex Gilliead, meanwhile, are with the under-17 national team.
However Andy Hall, who grabbed a brace on his debut against the claret and blues earlier in the month, is again involved while Jonathan Mitchell, Jonathyn Quinn, Greg Olley and Rolando Aarons were all involved in the under-21s' 1-1 draw at Reading on Monday.
And defender Alex Kitchen continues his comeback from a hamstring injury.
The squad is: Alex Kitchen, Jonathan Mitchell, Lee Desmond, Jonathyn Quinn, Greg Olley, Macaulay Gillesphey, Sam Busby, Callum Roberts, Brad Halliday, Andy Hall, Daniel Barlaser, Jamie Cobain, James Atkinson, Rolando Aarons, Jamie Sterry, Jordan Storey
