By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor
Newcastle United are jetting out to Russia ahead of Thursday night's Europa League Round of 16 first leg fixture against Anzhi Makhachkala (5pm kick-off GMT).
Manager Alan Pardew has named a 19-man party for the match at the Luzhniki Stadium, in Moscow, which blends youth and experience.
Fit-again Hatem Ben Arfa, who has been sidelined since early December with a hamstring injury, is on the plane, along with the likes of long-serving striker Shola Ameobi, centre-back Steven Taylor, midfielder Yohan Cabaye and former Ajax man Vurnon Anita.
At the other end of the spectrum is 18-year-old Adam Campbell, who became the Magpies' youngest European debutant when he featured against Atromitos in the competition's qualifying round last August, while there is also places for Gael Bigirimana and rookie goalkeeper Jak Alnwick.
