Mehdi Abeid set up another goal for St. Johnstone as they beat Paul Dummett and Conor Newton's St. Mirren in the Scottish Premier League

Mehdi Abeid gained the bragging rights over Toon team-mates Paul Dummett and Conor Newton as his St. Johnstone side overcame St. Mirren at the weekend.
When the sides met in the Scottish Cup three weeks earlier it was the team from Paisley who came out on top but this time it was the Perth Saints who prevailed thanks to Rowan Vine's 52nd minute strike.
And Abeid, who set up Nigel Hasselbaink's late equaliser at Celtic in midweek, was again the provider as it was from his corner that Vine forced home.
The midfielder played for 61 minutes while Newton and Dummett played the whole game, with Newton seeing a 20-yard strike well saved by Alan Mannus with the score at 0-0.
Crewe Alexandra piled more misery on Coventry City in League One as Bradden Inman played for 89 minutes. The Railwaymen had edged out the Sky Blues 3-2 on aggregate in midweek to reach the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and won 2-1 at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.
In League Two, Michael Richardson was an unused substitute for the second week in a row and still awaits his Gillingham debut as the Kent side maintained their position at the top of the table with a 1-0 win at Chesterfield.
Sunday sees Bradford City take on Swansea in the Capital One Cup final, with Curtis Good part of the Bantams squad at Wembley.
