Fancy A Flutter Against Chelsea?

Written by Newcastle Utd

Official Betting Partner Bet Butler provides Magpies fans with some tips ahead of Saturday's fixture against Chelsea

Newcastle entertain Chelsea on Saturday in Premier League action (3pm kick-off), having returned to winning ways in midweek.

Chelsea are odds-on favourites here but they have been inconsistent of late, having failed to win in their last three games against teams in the bottom six.

The Magpies recorded their first away win of the season at Aston Villa on Tuesday and they have won eight of their last 11 home games following a victory, with just one defeat.

It is well worth backing United to beat the Blues at 4.33.

Betting on goals looks to be a safe bet. Six of Newcastle's seven home games against top-six teams since the start of last season have had at least three goals, as have nine of their last 11 games and eight of Chelsea's last ten.

Over 2.5 match goals (three or more) looks a banker at 1.73, with over 3.5 match goals worth an interest at 3.0.

In terms of first goalscorer, Papiss Cisse is Newcastle's best hope of breaking the deadlock at 8.0, with new-boy Yoan Gouffran worth a look at 9.0.
