Newcastle v Reading: Snow Update

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle United are confident that Saturday's Premier League home fixture against Reading will take place

Newcastle United are confident that Saturday's Premier League home fixture against Reading will take place.

There is around an inch of snow at St. James' Park, which at 8.30am was being cleared from the pitch.

Given the preparatory work that took place, and with the assistance of the Council, the surroundings of the stadium are in good shape and not a cause for concern at this time.

Based on the current position, the Club does not envisage any issues with the match going ahead.

The Club will continue to monitor this and update via nufc.co.uk as necessary, as the position may change if there is further snowfall.

Tickets for the match against Reading are still available. For more information, or to secure your seat, click here
