Juniors Game Postponed

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle's Academy fixture against Aston Villa this weekend has been postponed due to the weather

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

The current snowy conditions across the UK have led to Newcastle's Barclays Under-18 Premier League game at Aston Villa being postponed this weekend.

Dave Watson's side were due to face the Villans at Bodymoor Heath on Saturday morning but a new date will now have to be found.

United beat Manchester City 3-2 in their first game of 2013 last weekend, with Greg Olley, Adam Campbell and Jonathyn Quinn on target.

And their next game - weather permitting - will now be at home to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, 26th January (kick-off 12.30pm).
