Loan Watch: Same Old Dummett...

Left-back Paul Dummett scored again for St. Mirren on Sunday as he ended 2012 on a high, while Bradden Inman was also celebrating

Paul Dummett scored his second goal in his last four appearances as St. Mirren won 4-3 at Dundee United in the final Scottish Premier League game of 2012.
The left-back - straight back in the starting XI after missing the 2-2 draw at Inverness through injury - had netted his first senior strike against St. Johnstone earlier this month and was in the right place at the right time once again on Sunday as he tapped home Gary Teale's cross after 16 minutes to put the Buddies in front.
He then conceded a penalty for a foul on Jon Daly, who converted from the spot before Stuart Armstrong put the hosts ahead on the stroke of half-time, but Steven Thompson, Marc McAusland and David van Zanten gave the Saints all three points in the second half despite Barry Douglas' last minute consolation.
Dummett is not the only Newcastle loanee who is in fine form in front of goal, with Bradden Inman on target in his first three league appearances for Crewe.
The Australian failed to score against Oldham on Saturday - but still helped his side to a 2-1 win at Boundary Park. Former Magpies youngster Dan Taylor was the Latics goalscorer as Inman played for 74 minutes.
Curtis Good wasn't involved in Bradford's 4-2 defeat at Rochdale while Workington's game at Vauxhall Motors was postponed meaning no action for JJ Hooper or goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell, who joined the Reds on loan after first choice keeper Aaran Taylor suffered a wrist injury.
Frustratingly for Michael Riley and Marcus Maddison, Blyth's game against Ashton United was also called off.
