Tiote: 'Come And Cheick Us Out'

Written by Newcastle Utd

Cheick Tiote wants a full house at St. James' Park on Monday, insisting the fans can help United beat Wigan

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Cheick Tiote is convinced that Newcastle United can get back to winning ways this Monday against Wigan - with the backing of the Magpies' fans.

And the Ivorian enforcer wants to see a full house at St. James' Park to make it a memorable game under the floodlights, as United look to climb up the Premier League table.

Tickets for the fixture start at just £5 for juniors and £15 for adults - superb value for a top flight match.

And Tiote wants a joint effort between players and fans to pick up all three points against the Latics.

"We need them there to support us," Tiote told nufc.co.uk.

"Things haven't been going well recently, it is a difficult time and we need everyone to be together.

"Now is the time to start winning again. We have lost four games in the league and that is not acceptable for a team like Newcastle.

"On Monday we have to go out there and win the game, for the team and for the fans as well.

"They are brilliant every game, and can help us get that win."
