Alan Pardew has urged Newcastle United's travelling supporters to conduct themselves in the right manner ahead of Thursday's Europa League tie at Club Brugge.
Magpies fans in the Belgian city of Bruges are expected to far outweigh the near-2,400 tickets received for the Group D fixture at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
Pardew knows their backing will be key as United bid to continue their unbeaten European campaign, and is keen for the supporters with and without tickets to give a positive representation of the Club.
"We know what our fans are like, and when we take anything over 600 they start sounding like a whole stadium," explained the manager.
"I'm sure we are going to have very vocal support tomorrow and we are very much aware that tickets are at a premium.
"It's brilliant that they have come to follow us, we are absolutely delighted and I hope they conduct themselves in and around the city in the right manner.
"That is important because we have got fantastic supporters."
