Davide Santon

Davide Santon is keen to cap an impressive week for Newcastle United with three Premier League points against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday (3pm kick-off).

The Magpies secured a 1-1 Tyne-Wear derby draw at Sunderland last weekend, despite playing 65 minutes with ten men, and then followed it up in midweek by beating Club Brugge 1-0 in the Europa League.

They now face West Brom at St. James' Park, and Santon wants to make it seven points from a possible nine across all competitions.

"We have had two good results this week already, against Sunderland and Brugge," the Italian full-back told nufc.co.uk.

"Now we have West Brom at home so we have to win - it is as simple as that. We don't want anything else but a win, especially being at home.

"The supporters can give us energy and confidence and help us get three points."

Tickets for Sunday's game against West Brom are still available, starting from just £5. For more information, or to purchase one, click here
