Sunderland's A Sell-Out

Written by Newcastle Utd

Newcastle's allocation for the derby match at Sunderland on 21st October has now sold out

By Dan King - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Newcastle United's allocation for this month's derby match at Sunderland has now sold out.

Tickets went on sale to season ticket holders with 100 or more loyalty points before the criteria was reduced to 75 and then, on Friday morning, 50.

But within a couple of hours of the 50 points mark being reached, all tickets for the away end at the Stadium of Light had been snapped up.

Last season on Wearside, the Magpies won 1-0 thanks to Ryan Taylor's free-kick which sailed over the wall and into the net.

And Alan Pardew's side will hope to repeat that result on Sunday, 21st October (kick-off 1.30pm).
