nufcTV: Reading Highlights

Written by Newcastle Utd

Demba Ba's two goals at Reading are worth seeing again and so are a couple of superb saves from Steve Harper

There weren't too many highlights in the first half at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday, but the second half exploded into life.

Newcastle gained a 2-2 draw against Reading thanks to Demba Ba's controversial late leveller, which appeared to strike his hand as he tried to head home Shane Ferguson's pin-point cross.

Before that, there had been three goals in four minutes. The hosts took the lead through Jimmy Kebe, then Demba Ba scored one of the best goals of the weekend with a stunning volley from Cheick Tiote's pass before Noel Hunt headed the Royals ahead once again.

But then came Ba's second intervention, while there were also a couple of great saves from Steve Harper which are worth watching again by clicking on the button below.
