Loan Watch: Nine-Goal Thriller

There were nine goals scored at St. Mirren Park on Saturday - but Paul Dummett and his team-mates just about came out on top

It's now three wins from four games for Paul Dummett since his arrival at St. Mirren - but there was no clean sheet this time for the on-loan defender.
Before Saturday's game against Ross County, the Buddies had recorded shut-outs in two of Dummett's three appearances but conceded four times against the Staggies.
Fortunately, they scored five in a thrilling affair and climbed to fourth in the Scottish Premier League.
Iain Vigurs gave the hosts an 11th minute lead after a swift break before Steven Thompson equalised. But on the stroke of half time, Grant Munroe put Ross County in front for a second time, forcing home from a set-piece.
However, former Newcastle youngster Lewis Guy levelled again from the penalty spot on 54 minutes before Sam Parkin and then sub Kenny McLean looked to have wrapped up three points for the hosts.
But then came two goals in two minutes from Rocco Quinn, who first tapped home the loose ball after a fantastic goal-line block from Dummett, then lashed the ball past Craig Samson to make it 4-4.
With less than a minute remaining, though, Thompson popped up with his second as the Saints went marching on to another victory.
