Travelling Newcastle fans will be affected by a booze ban on trains coming back from London King's Cross on Saturday following their side's Barclays Premier League match at Reading.
Alcohol will not be permitted on board all East Coast services between the capital and Newcastle Central Station from 18.59 as well as the 19.07 Grand Central service from London to Sunderland.
It is an offence under Byelaw 4 (2) of the Railway Byelaws, for any person travelling on the services listed above to be in possession of intoxicating liquor or to attempt to enter any of the affected trains with intoxicating liquor.
