Norwich Programme

By Dan Sheridan - Newcastle United Managing Editor

Norwich City are the visitors to Tyneside this weekend, and ahead of the big game your official matchday programme is once again bursting with all the latest news and views.

In our main interview, we hear from cover-star Demba Ba, who made history on Monday night against Everton at Goodison Park by scoring Newcastle's 1,000th Premier League goal.

And in our popular new iToons feature, defender Mike Williamson is the latest United player to speak candidly about life on-and-off the pitch, as he talks tennis, Torquay and Ryan Taylor's boots!

In Hometown Heroes, Dutch international Vurnon Anita winds back the clock to reveal all about growing up on the Caribbean Island of Curaçao and how he almost gave up football for a totally different sport.

And in our latest Young Gun interview, we chat to midfielder Bradden Inman, who has started the Under 21 campaign in fine form, with five goals in four games including one against Sunderland's second-string on Tuesday night.

With England's revamped top flight now in its 20th year, Premier League Years focuses on every Newcastle season since it began, with this week's spotlight falling on the memorable 1995/96 campaign that saw the Toon almost lift the title.

Elsewhere, BBC Radio Newcastle's Mick Lowes is the latest journalist to give us his views from the press box, while our guest columnist is Durham and England bowler and lifelong Magpies fan Graham Onions .

And as ever, our award-winning opposition section brings you all the stats, facts and profiles you'll need on our visitors from Norfolk as Norwich boss Chris Hughton returns to Gallowgate.

The programme is on sale in our Official Club Store at the stadium, and will be available around the ground on matchday as usual. Single programmes and subscriptions are also available online at
