Two More Fixture Changes

Written by Newcastle Utd

United's trips to Southampton and Stoke have new dates due to the Magpies' European commitments

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Club Reporter

Newcastle United's away fixtures at Southampton and Stoke City in November have both been moved back 24 hours due to the Magpies' participation in Europe.

Alan Pardew was supposed to take United to his former side the Saints on Saturday, 24th November, but Newcastle are at home to Maritimo in the Europa League on Thursday, 22nd November.

So the game has been rescheduled for Sunday, 25th November, with the kick-off time at St. Mary's Stadium remaining 3pm

That change has a knock-on effect on the Magpies' following Premier League match, away at Stoke City.

Originally in the fixture list for Tuesday, 27th November, the trip to the Potteries has also been shifted back a day and will now be played on Wednesday, 28th November, with the kick-off time still 7.45pm.
