After two tough games against top six rivals, the Magpies face what should be an easier game against struggling Aston Villa on Sunday.
Official Betting Partner Bet Butler makes Newcastle the clear favourites at 13/20, with Villa out at 5/1.
The omens look good for a Newcastle victory, with Villa having won just seven out of 39 away games since 2010 and just three away games since the start of last season. By contrast, under Pardew, the Toon are undefeated in 15 games against bottom half sides, with ten wins.
Seven of those 15 games have been half time/ full time doubles, making Newcastle to be winning at half-time and full-time at 6/4 better value than the straight home win here.
Sixty-one per cent of Newcastle home games have seen at least three goals under Alan Pardew, including 67 per cent of games against bottom half teams.
Over 2.5 goals looks a good bet at 17/20 as does both teams to score at 4/5. Both teams have scored in 58 per cent of Newcastle home games and 62 per cent of Villa away games since 2010.
With goals expected, Newcastle 2-1 looks the best value for the correct scoreline at 8/1.
Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba are again the likely suspects to score for the Toon, but Ba gets the nod for first scorer at 9/2, due to his slightly better home record.
