Alan Pardew's boys marched into the group stages of the Europa League by beating Atromitos at the Sports Direct Arena on Thursday night.

With the scores level from the first leg, Newcastle knew that a win would be enough to secure their passage into the competition and Haris Vuckic struck his first senior goal for the Club after 21 minutes.

At the other end, United survived a penalty appeal from the Greek side when Brazilian striker Chumbinho went down under a challenge from Tim Krul - only to be booked for diving.

And the Athens outfit had another spot-kick shout turned down late on as the Magpies shone in their brand new fluo lime third/European kit.
