Dave Watson's Academy side are still searching for their first win of the season after two games, and host Stoke City at Little Benton on Saturday (kick-off 1pm).
Last term, United won the Premier Academy League Group D title but they lost at home to Tottenham on the opening day of this campaign before going down to a 2-1 defeat at Southampton last weekend.
The likes of Remie Streete, Macaulay Gillesphey, Tom Heardman, Alex Kitchen and Macauley Booth have been sidelined so far this year but Watson welcomes Jamaican winger Rolando Aarons back into the fold after he recovered from the knock which has kept him out of the first two games.
Jamie Sterry is also named in the squad after suffering terrible luck with injuries over the last few months. However, midfielder Liam Smith is absent while Lubo Satka and Adam Campbell are likely to feature for the Reserves, also against Stoke, on Monday.
England under-16 striker Alex Gilliead scored his first under-18 goal for the Club in a 3-1 win against the Potters last term and will hope to get his name on the scoresheet again this weekend.
The Potters have won both of their two games so far, recording 2-1 wins against Manchester United and Aston Villa with Derice Richards on target in both matches.
United's squad is: Jonathan Mitchell, Aidan Grant, Steven Logan, Lee Desmond, Jonathyn Quinn, Greg Olley, Ryan McKinnon, James Morgan, Esteban Cardona Lopez, Alex Gilliead, Rolando Aarons, Jamie Sterry, Adam Armstrong, Kyle Cameron, Daniel Barlaser, Ben Drennan.
