Summer signings Gael Bigirimana and Curtis Good will make their competitive debuts for Newcastle United's Reserves in Saturday's Barclays Under-21 Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.
Midfielder Bigirimana, 18, joined the club from Coventry last month while defender Good, 19, arrived from Melbourne Heart and while both could make an impact at first-team level this season they have predominantly been signed for the future.
Haris Vuckic, James Tavernier and Mehdi Abeid are also in the squad for the match, which kicks off at 12 noon behind closed doors at the club's Benton training centre, while Adam Campbell is involved a week after making his senior bow in the first-team's friendly at Cardiff.
Campbell scored in the Reserves' pre-season win at Oldham in midweek as did Bradden Inman. Jak Alnwick, whose brother, Ben, is a former Tottenham keeper, is likely to start in goal with Jonathan Mitchell providing cover.
Paul Dummett is recovering from a minor ankle injury so first-year scholar Lubo Satka is promoted from the Academy set-up to the second-string side. The 16-year-old Slovakian defender, who joined United in May, has had a strong pre-season campaign and helped Newcastle win the Hong Kong Football Club International Soccer Sevens tournament.
The squad is: Mehdi Abeid, Jak Alnwick, Gael Bigirimana, Adam Campbell, Curtis Good, JJ Hooper, Bradden Inman, Marcus Maddison, Jonathan Mitchell, Yven Moyo, Conor Newton, Alex Nicholson, Michael Richardson, Lubo Satka, James Tavernier, Haris Vuckic
