Newcastle United's first away game of the Barclays Under-21 Premier League season has a new kick-off time - and a more prestigious venue.
Willie Donachie and Peter Beardsley's side will face Stoke on Monday, 3rd September as planned, but it will now be played at the Britannia Stadium rather than the Weaver Stadium, home of Evostick Premier League outfit Nantwich Town.
That means a new kick-off time of 7.30pm instead of the 2pm start which had been pencilled in against the Potters.
Both of the Magpies' first two fixtures in the new-look second-string league are at home.
Tottenham will be the opponents at United's Benton training centre this Saturday, 18th August in a behind-closed-doors affair, before Southampton travel to Whitley Park on Monday, 27th August. Kick-off there is 1pm and members of the public will be admitted.
