Supporters who like to get the name and number of their favourite player printed on their replica shirt have more choice this season, with two different styles of lettering - one for the league and one for Europe.
As well as the usual Barclays Premier League numbering, the club are also using their own font this term.
Rather than the league's lion logo, the numbers feature the Magpies club crest and will be used in European fixtures in 2012/13.
Both styles are available on the new Newcastle United home shirts, which went on sale on Thursday morning.
The Premier League package is £15, including any name and number and sleeve patches.
Meanwhile, the Newcastle United package is £12 including Premier League sleeve patches, or £10 without.
