Newcastle United fans have given the Club's new home shirt for the 2012/13 season a resounding thumbs up today after it went on sale first thing this morning.
In what is a busy day at the Official Club Store at the Sports Direct Arena, supporters have been queuing in their droves to pick up the latest kit, with many arriving early for the 7am opening time.
And after getting their hands on the new black and white shirt for the first time, the response from the Magpies faithful has been a positive one.
Brian Fegan, from Jarrow, said: "It's really nice. I buy the home shirt every year and I've got one from every season since the 1970s.
"This one is right up there with my favourites and it was a birthday present, so it's even saved me some money!"
While Adam Stoker from High Heaton added: "I really like it. It's got a nice feel to it, which makes it better to wear.
"The design is really nice as well. It's a great shirt and I'm pleased I came down and picked mine up today."
The kit was given its first airing by the players last month for our pre-season clash with Chemnitzer in Germany.
And ahead of the new Premier League campaign which kicks off against Tottenham in nine days time, it seems the players won't be the only ones wearing the Puma kit.
Michael Burn, from Blakelaw, said: "I've actually come down here to buy one for young son, but I'll be getting mine before the season starts.
"I liked last year's shirt and I didn't think we could do any better than that one, but I was wrong. The new one is even nicer and it's the best we've had for a good few years."
