Two Newcastle United youngsters have been called up for an England training camp in August.
Striker Adam Armstrong and defender James Atkinson have been selected to attend the four-day get-together at Warwick University, which Kenny Swain will use to help him choose his squad for next season's Victory Shield tournament.
The pair have been star performers for the Magpies' under-16s side, with both playing in last summer's Lion City Cup competition in Singapore as well as the Nike Cup tournament in April.
United duo Alex Gilliead and Freddie Woodman were involved as England won last year's Victory Shield, and they have now progressed to the Three Lions' under-17 set-up.
Woodman - who only turned 15 in March - has been named as one of two goalkeepers for the Nordic Tournament in the Faroe Islands next month while striker Gilliead is on standby.
