Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul is heading back to Tyneside after Holland were knocked out of Euro 2012 on Sunday night.
The young stopper was again an unused substitute - for the third successive game - as the Netherlands went down 2-1 against Portugal in their final group game.
And that meant the 2010 World Cup runners-up finished pointless and bottom of Group D following three defeats.
Roma's Maarten Stekelenburg was selected ahead of Krul in goal for Holland, who took the lead when Rafael Van Der Vaart curled home from 20 yards.
The Dutch needed a victory and the result of the Germany v Denmark game to go their way, but Cristiano Ronaldo levelled before half-time and then drove in a winner with just over 15 minutes remaining to send Krul and Co home.
