Derek Fazackerley completes the line-up of guest presenters at Newcastle United Foundation's 'Coach the Coach' Summer Convention next month.

The hugely experienced and respected former Huddersfield Town, England, Blackburn, Manchester City, Leicester and Newcastle United coach joins Lee Clark and a host of other FA licensed coaches in delivering presentations and practical demonstrations for local football coaches on Saturday, 16th and Sunday, 17th June.

As a player, Fazackerley made more than 600 appearances for Blackburn and was Kevin Keegan's First-Team Coach during the 'Entertainers' era of the mid-1990s.

Neil Winskill, Football Development Manager at Newcastle United Foundation said: "Derek was my coach at Newcastle United when I was a youth and Reserve team player so I am delighted he is returning to the region for our event this summer."

There are still spaces on the two-day event held at Complete Football, Newcastle Racecourse, Gosforth, organised by the Foundation in partnership with Northumberland FA and Complete Football.

The price for one day is £25 and two days is £45. Clubs who book places for more than five coaches will pay £22.50 per head for one day and £40 per head for two days.
