Newcastle United under-18s travel to Blackburn on Saturday for their Premier Academy League play-off semi-final (kick-off 12.30pm) - and are boosted by the return of Adam Campbell after three months out.
The England under-17 international forward is back in the squad for the first time since he scored in February's FA Youth Cup fifth round win over Queens Park Rangers.
Not only did he miss the run-in as United won the Group D title - they're now battling with the other three group winners to be crowned overall Academy champions - but he was also unable to play against Blackburn in the FA Youth Cup quarter-final, which Rovers won on penalties.
JJ Hooper and Dennis Knight have also recently recovered from injuries and they're involved at the Lancashire club's Brockhall Academy, as is Lee Desmond who spent the first few months of the campaign on the sidelines.
A result must be achieved on Saturday, with the winners facing either Leicester or Fulham in the final.
The squad is: JJ Hooper, Dan Taylor, Michael Hoganson, Dennis Knight, Marcus Maddison, Brandon Miele, Ben Sayer, Jamie Smith, Louis Storey, Adam Campbell, Alex Baird, Steven Logan, Jonathan Mitchell, Will Turton, Lee Desmond, Alex Gilliead.
