Willie Donachie welcomes back two players from long-term injuries as his Newcastle United Reserve team take on their Manchester United equivalents on Monday (7pm).
Midfielder Bradden Inman and defender Stephen Folan are in the squad to take on the Barclays Premier Reserve League North league leaders at Whitley Park after being sidelined with knee injuries.
Aussie ace Inman, 20, limped off in a practice match against Leeds in January while Irish centre-back Folan suffered a knee cartilage tear in training just days after a 2-0 win over Wigan's second-string in November.
Phil Airey and Ryan Donaldson are the only two players in the party to have played for Newcastle's first-team, while Michael Richardson has been on the fringes of the senior set-up in recent weeks.
Dan Taylor has scored four goals in his last three under-18s appearances - including one in a 2-1 defeat to the Red Devils.
If Warren Joyce's men from Manchester win, they will clinch the title while the Magpies are looking to avenge January's 6-0 defeat at Moss Lane in Altrincham.
The squad is: Jak Alnwick, Jonathan Mitchell, Patrick Nzuzi, Jeff Henderson, Jamie Smith, Stephen Folan, Alex Kitchen, Yven Moyo, Steven Logan, Michael Richardson, Bradden Inman, Marcus Maddison, Ryan McGorrigan, Ryan Donaldson, Dan Taylor, Phil Airey
