Alan Smith and James Tavernier each played the full 90 minutes as MK Dons strengthened their promotion hopes with a crucial 2-1 win over Bury.
The Shakers led through David Amoo's 10th minute opener, but Dean Bowditch equalised before Smith was fouled in the box, allowing Bowditch to score from the spot.
It was the only fixture in League One and with the victory, the Dons stayed fifth but moved level on points with Huddersfield.
And it was their second successive win, following a 5-0 success over Oldham at the weekend, which Smith missed due to an ankle injury.
On Wednesday night, Fraser Forster's Celtic host Dunfermline in the Scottish Premier League.
