Newcastle United Reserves begin their defence of the Sage Northumberland FA Senior Cup on Tuesday night with a home tie against Ashington at Whitley Park (7.30pm kick-off).
The second round fixture sees second string manager Willie Donachie name a youthful squad, with only Haris Vuckic and Tamas Kadar having played for the first team.
No less than ten Academy players are named in the Magpies' party for the match including Ben Sayer, who made his Reserve debut last week against Everton, and defender Remie Streete, who has been a regular presence at the heart of the defence.
If level at 90 minutes, extra-time will be played, but there will be no penalty shoot-out if the teams are still tied at the end of that - with the game instead being replayed at a later date.
Entrance at Whitley Park is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions, in line with competition rules. Season tickets holders and Club Members do not gain free entry.
Last season, Newcastle picked up the Senior Cup trophy with a 4-0 victory over Blyth Spartans in the final at St. James' Park. Phil Airey bagged a brace, while Michael Richardson and James Tavernier were also on target as the Magpies eased to the win.
The squad is: Alex Baird, Louis Storey, Remie Streete, Tamas Kadar, Alex Nicholson, Lee Toland, Ben Sayer, Michael Richardson, Bradden Inman, Haris Vuckic, Joan Edmundsson, Ryan McGorrigan, Adam Campbell, JJ Hooper, Daniel Taylor
