Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul has joined up with the Holland squad for their friendly double-header which begins later this week.
The Netherlands first face Switzerland on Friday, 11th November, at the Amsterdam Arena, before travelling to Hamburg to take on Germany on Tuesday, 15th November.
Krul, aged 23, will compete with Roma stopper Maarten Stekelenburg and Swansea's Michel Vorm for a place between the sticks. And even though he thinks his game-time might well be limited, the Magpies' number one is just looking forward to being a part of the Dutch camp.
"I'm not sure how much I will play, but I will just go out there with a lot of confidence," the twice-capped keeper told nufc.co.uk.
"So I will walk in with my head held high being third in the Premier League, unbeaten, and with the best defensive record in the country. I can walk in there with a smile and a lot of confidence."
United's top scorer Demba Ba is also on international duty, with a couple of friendlies coming up for his Senegal side.
The Lions of Teranga will go up against Mali (11th November) and the Ivory Coast (15th November), with the striker hoping to add to his ten caps and three goals for the national team.
Reserve team defender Tamas Kadar has seen his impressive form for the Club's second string rewarded with a call-up to the Hungary senior squad, as they get set for friendlies against Liechtenstein (11th November) and Poland (15th November). The left-sided youngster won his only senior cap to date almost a year ago.
Davide Santon has once again been named in the Italy Under 21 party as they face Euro 2013 qualifiers away in Turkey (10th November) and at home against Hungary (15th November).
The full-back has captained The Azzurrini in recent games and they have a 100 per cent record from their three qualification games to date.
Haris Vuckic's Slovenia Under 21s will take on Lithuania on Thursday, 10th November, while Joan Edmundsson is in the Faroe Islands Under 21 party to face Macedonia on Friday, 11th November.
