Former Newcastle United full-back Olivier Bernard will be entered into Show Racism the Red Card's Hall of Fame on Sunday at the Magpies' home match against Tottenham.
Ex-Toon favourites Les Ferdinand and John Beresford will present the award to Bernard on the St. James' Park pitch at half-time, and Ged Grebby, chief executive of Show Racism the Red Card explained that Bernard has been inducted due to his tireless work with the anti-racism campaign.
"Olivier now works in schools with the charity's education team and is a great ambassador for the campaign," said Grebby.
"It is fantastic that two other members of our Hall of Fame have agreed to present Olivier, and I am sure both Les Ferdinand and John Beresford will get a warm reception from the crowd. The campaign would also like to thank Newcastle United for their continued support over the last 15 years.
"Racism has no place in sport and in society as a whole and Show Racism the Red Card is now playing a leading role throughout the UK, combating the scourge of racism."
