Magpies fan David Parker has been presented with a signed Newcastle United shirt courtesy of official club sponsor Northern Rock, after naming his favourite Toon moment.
As part of the launch their latest initiative for fans, Skills Rock, Northern Rock asked supporters before the recent Premier League clash with Blackburn at St. James' Park to name their favourite United moment.
David opted for Tino Asprillia's unforgettable hat-trick against Barcelona in the Champions League in 1997, and his name was the lucky one drawn out of a hat at random.
The Skills Rock website gives fans the opportunity to view footage and recreations of some of the most memorable Magpies moments of the past - from Jackie Milburn's FA Cup thunderbolt against Blackpool in 1951, to Cheik Tiote's equalising volley in the 4-4 draw at home to Arsenal last season.
It also gives fans the chance to hear from past and present Newcastle United stars on topics such as their favourite goal, their most skilful teammate, and their most memorable game.
David was presented with his winning shirt by Northern Rock's Graeme Tones, and said: "Newcastle United is my team - they always have been and always be.
"They have provided me with some fantastic moments over the years and I hope that they will continue to do so. To win a signed Newcastle shirt is special and it will take pride of place on the wall in my house. I cannot thank Northern Rock enough."
