We're Not In Kansas Anymore

Written by Newcastle Utd

Next stop Orlando as United continue their Stateside tour ahead of their next game on Saturday

Newcastle's players and staff are on the move again today after a 0-0 draw with Sporting Kansas City brought an end to the squad's stay in the Midwest.

After our goalless draw at the Livestrong Sporting Park, the squad returned to their hotel before being whisked off to Kansas Airport to catch an American Airlines flight to Chicago.

From there, the team will move on to Orlando later on today and are due to land in the state of Florida at around 2pm local time (8pm GMT). They will then be picked up by coach and transferred to their base for the next three days.

Once the squad are settled at their hotel in the Sunshine State, they will gather for lunch before being given the rest of the day off to recuperate after the journey and the energy-sapping match last night.

Their first training session in Orlando will take place tomorrow morning as the players begin to prepare for Saturday's game with Orlando City - who are managed by former Everton and Stoke City forward Adrian Heath.
