Lucozade's search for the country's most dedicated Premier League fans came to a spectacular conclusion on Saturday 21st May when 20 teams of fans descended on Stamford Bridge to take part in the inaugural Lucozade Fans Fives tournament.

Newcastle United were superbly represented by 'The Leazes End'. The team was drawn in a tough group alongside Liverpool FC home and away sides, Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers. Newcastle battled gallantly throughout the group stages and ended the tournament unbeaten. Despite three draws and a great 2-0 win over Wigan, The Magpies narrowly missed out on qualifying by a single point. This certainly didn't sour the experience for the team who had done themselves and the club proud throughout.

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur eventually won through to the final and played out a tightly fought final which ended 0-0 before an incredibly tense (and long!) penalty shootout was won 11-10 by Ultimate Spurs.

The teams had won through to Stamford Bridge having completed a number of challenges including Chairman for a day and their ultimate team talk. You can see the challenge highlights and images from the finals day at
