Captain On Camera

Written by Newcastle Utd

Skipper Kevin Nolan will feature in an exclusive three-part interview only on nufcTV, starting this week

By Dan King

It's been quite a season for Newcastle United and Kevin Nolan - and the club captain will talk about the campaign and much more in an exclusive three-part interview with nufcTV, starting this week.

The Magpies midfielder has scored 12 goals this term - including four against Sunderland - and notched his 50th Premier League career strike in the process in what has been a remarkable few months for him personally.

And for United, in their first season back in the top flight they look on course for a midtable finish with so many memorable moments along the way, including the never-to-be-forgotten 5-1 win over Sunderland, the 6-0 thrashing of Aston Villa, winning at The Emirates Stadium and that amazing 4-4 comeback against Arsenal.

In part one of his interview, only available to nufcTV subscribers from Thursday afternoon, Nolan explains how Newcastle have gone from strength to strength since returning to the Barclays Premier League and looks back at the highs - and the lows - of the season.

And in parts two and three, he talks to Rob Scanlon about his views on Alan Pardew, what he wants to achieve with the club, what the captaincy means to him, his retirement plans and his remaining ambitions in the game.

It's fascinating stuff from Captain Fantastic and if you're not already signed up to nufcTV, now's the time to do so.

As well as exclusive interviews like this, we brought you the first interviews with the likes of Hatem Ben Arfa, Sol Campbell and Alan Pardew, while French ace Ben Arfa recently spoke for the first time since returning to England following his long-term injury.

There are full match highlights from every league and cup game, live audio commentary, post-match and pre-game views from the players and manager and unrivalled coverage of Peter Beardsley's Reserve team.

And you get all of this from £3.99 a month, so why not sign up today in time for the first part of this Nolan hat-trick?
