A hamstring injury prevented Jose Enrique from facing Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane last month, but the Spanish defender is set to play against the Lilywhites at St. James' Park on Saturday and is in a confident frame of mind.
The man nicknamed El Toro - Spanish for The Bull - is in suitably bullish mood despite Spurs sitting fifth in the Barclays Premier League and coming into the game on the back of a draw with table-toppers Manchester United.
And although he believes Saturday's visitors are one of the best sides in England and is well aware of their threat from wide areas after both Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale scored in The Magpies' 2-0 defeat in North London, he insists United can add to their three-match unbeaten run in the league.
"I think in this league, everyone can beat everyone," Enrique told nufc.co.uk.
"I think Tottenham are one of the best - if not the best - teams in the country for the way they play football and their style of play. Not only are they in a great position in the league but they're exciting to watch too.
"They're a good team and they like to play football. But we have shown we can get good results against the best teams. We drew against Chelsea, we beat Arsenal.
"We've beaten some big teams and for that reason, I think we can beat Tottenham."
