Newcastle United Enterprise Academy offers young supporters the chance to improve their enterprise skills whilst mixing their love of the sport.
Our Enterprise Academy aims to harness the passion for the Club to stimulate young minds about business. Funded by One North East, the initiative gives young people in the region an understanding of Newcastle United as a business rather than just a football club while raising their self esteem and aspirations.
We currently offer three different Enterprise courses:
OCR Enterprise Academy Certificate in Business and Enterprise
(Entry Level 3)

NCFE Award in Exploring/Demonstrating Enterprise Skills
Level 1
5 hours/15 hours
1 credit/5 credits
Equivalent of GCSE grade D-G
NCFE Award in Employability Skills
Level 1
10 hours
7 credits
Equivalent of GCSE grade D-G
Our courses use the football club as a real life case study to improve student's perception of business in a way they can relate to and understand. We offer incentives to encourage successful completion of each course such as free match tickets and visits from NUFC personalities. Football related enterprise challenges are created, which see students working in teams to design and create a new football strip or developing products which the participants have to learn how to market and sell.
