TEENAGE striker Nile Ranger is the latest Newcastle United star to run the club's official matchday programme through his all-star side ...

Goalkeeper

Gianluigi Buffon

He's the best goalkeeper in the world, for definite. He has everything really, but in particular he has great reflexes - he's sharp!

Defenders

Cafu

Solid yet skilful and I love that. He can defend so well but he's tricky to. He's a full-back but he does step-overs and dummies! That sets him apart.

Alan Thompson

Tommo is the quickest left-back around! He's our Academy Coach and I've seen him in training. Wow, he's fast! He loves a long ball as well!

Alessandro Nesta

This man is solid. Imagine running into him - bang! You wouldn't mess with him. No wonder he's won so much for club and country!

Carles Puyol

He's so strong, an absolute beast and so quick too. Maybe he's not as quick now because he's older but he can still move! A great defender.

Midfielders

Lionel Messi

The Best. Just the best. I don't need to say anything else about Messi. He won the Ballon D'or and rightly so because he's definitely the best.

Steven Gerrard

Gerrard is slick! Zidane can create so much but the Liverpool legend is a playmaker too. He is such a good passer and he scores goals too.

Zinedine Zidane

He's a magician. He was just an amazing footballer and is definitely one of the very best players I've seen. I'd say he's an all-time great.

Kaka

Amazing. He can play anywhere in midfield really but he's the best option for the left hand side! Him and Messi could swap flanks sometimes.

Cristiano Ronaldo

It's the two Ronaldos up-front! The original Ronaldo is my favourite but this one could be as good one day! I'd describe him as unstoppable!

Ronaldo

The Brazilian Ronaldo was the best finisher you'll ever see. He's a real legend, a genuine great in my opinion. At his peak he was just amazing to watch.
