CHRIS Hughton hopes that Jose Enrique prevented any serious damage to his hamstring by coming off immediately after feeling a strain during Wednesday's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
The Spaniard felt a twinge midway through the opening period and straight away signalled to the bench to be substituted.
And boss Hughton says that he will know more regarding Enrique's condition on Thursday.
"Of course, it is a concern," said the manager when asked about the injury.

"Jose has felt his hamstring - the only good news is that he came off straight away, so he certainly wouldn't have done any extra damage.
"We hope that has helped but we won't know more until the morning and it's one we'll have to assess."
