GOALKEEPER
Steve Mandanda
The French national team keeper plays for Marseille and I was at Le Havre Academy with him. Hopefully he will show his quality in next year's World Cup.

DEFENDERS
Cafu
He ran and ran and ran, even when he was well into his 30s, and won two World Cups. I liked how he would always be chewing gum when he was playing!
Alessandro Nesta
In my opinion he's the best defender of the moment and has been for a long time. As a forward myself, I imagine he would be so hard to beat.
Sebastien Bassong
I only trained with him a few times because I was injured for most of last season, but you could tell then how good he was and he keeps getting better.
Roberto Carlos
The best left back I've ever seen. He was like an extra attacking player and I'll always remember that free-kick he scored against France when I was about nine.
MIDFIELDERS
Lionel Messi
He's the best player in the world and nobody can disagree. He's the first name on my teamsheet. Has bags of skill but also works very hard.
Edgar Davids
The amount of work he gets through is crazy. From the first whistle, he doesn't give up. The Holland team with him, Kluivert and Seedorf was brilliant.
Xavi
A perfect foil for Davids. The quality of his passing is so good and Barcelona never substitute him because they're not the same without him.
Zinedine Zidane
When he scored twice in the 1998 World Cup final, I had just decided I wanted to become a footballer and after that game I wanted to be just like him.
FORWARDS
Roger Milla
I'm from Cameroon originally and I've seen a lot of videos of him. His World Cup goals made the people so happy - and so did his celebrations!
Ronaldo
He has been injured many times but I still think he's been the best. People talk about Cristiano Ronaldo but for me, he's the real Ronaldo.
