NEWCASTLE United's pre-season programme is now complete with the Magpies confirming six summer warm-up matches ahead of the Championship opener at West Brom on August 8.
Below, we take a quick look at the stadiums the Geordies will be visiting and the teams providing the opposition ...
Shamrock Rovers (A) - Saturday 11th July - kick off 3pm

United's first pre-season friendly of the summer sees them make the short hop across the Irish sea to take on League of Ireland Premier Division side Shamrock Rovers at the Tallaght Stadium on Dublin. The Hoops are managed by former Magpie striker Michael O'Neill with ex-goalkeeper Tommy Wright also among the coaching staff. Rovers are currently third in their domestic division.
Darlington (A) - Saturday 18th July - kick off 12:30pm

It's a first senior visit to the Northern Echo Darlington Arena (25, 500) for the Geordies. Darlo are now managed by former Boro boss Colin Todd. The Quakers finished 12th in League Two last time around.
Huddersfield Town (A) - Tuesday 21st July - kick off 7:45pm

Another senior first for United with Huddersfield Town's Galpharm Stadium (24, 554) next up just three days after the Darlo clash. The Terriers are managed by former Geordie favourite Lee Clark with ex-Mags Terry McDermott and Paul Stephenson among his backroom staff. The West Yorkshire club enjoyed a respectable 9th-placed finish under Clarkie in League One last term.
FC Utrecht (A) - Sunday 26th July - kick off 2.30pm (local time) 1.30pm BST

A European trip then follows for the Magpies with the Dutch town of Utrecht the destination. Eredivise outfit FC Utrecht are the opposition with their 24,426-capacity Stadion Galgenwaard the venue. Utrecht finished 9th in the Dutch top flight last season.
Leeds United (H) - Wednesday 29th July - kick off 7:45pm

Leeds United are the opponents for the sole home friendly of the summer. The Elland Road outfit are now managed by Simon Grayson and missed out on promotion from League One via the playoffs at the end of the last campaign.
Dundee United (A) - Sunday 2nd August - kick off 3pm

And to conclude pre-season preparations it's a trip north of the border to Dundee United where the Magpies will take part in their Centenary Game at Tannadice Park (14,209).
