From St MacNissi's College, Patrick has already represented Ireland at U15, U16 and U17 level, scoring three goals.
His Grandfather urged him to become a professional footballer and that his is aim - to follow in the footsteps of heroes Alan Smith and Steven Gerrard. Made his reserve team debut on 30 January 2008 v North Shields.
Signed professional contract with NUFC in 2008.
